My Fish ( a poem for my dad)

My Fish

Dear Dad, Today I found a fish

It was blue and Green

It could Splash and Splish

But it was clean

I showed it to my brother

he tried to poke it with a stick

I didnt have another

so I dashed away quick

I showed it to my sister

She glanced and screamed "Ew!"

Sh threatened to give me a blister

so I jumped out of view

I showed ot to mother

she brought out the pan

some onions and some cooking oil

out the room, I ran

Then I showed my fish to you

it was limp and frial

you smiled at me then your tool box

out came a hammer and nail

You nailed my fish to the plank

and the plank to the wall

on the name plate of the plank that was blank

now reads:

"For the greatest Dad of All"

Cheez Whiz a new generation

Have you ever imagined what the cheese on Macaroni and cheese would taste like if there was no macaroni? Cheez Whiz is exactly that. Well that or liquidy cheese slices from kraft is also has a similar taste. The blend of the cheese is excellent.. It's not as sticky as peanut butter and it is not as smooth as regular butter either but it does have both characteristics of the former and latter mentioned. I hear it tastes best when eaten with bread and orange juice. I, for one, don't really like it. Probably because the color turns me off but everyone around me seems to enjoy it. Oh well. The color by the way is a mix between yellow and orange. Somewhere in the middle perhaps. Kids will love this cheese the most because they just will . Trust me. There are seven grand kids living under the same roof somewhere in Cebu and they go crazy over it (except for an odd one a.k.a me). Mommy will love it too. It's so affordable. They even sell it in sachets here in the Philippines. So you get smiles on both ends of the table. I rank this cheese 5 out of 5 despite my personal taste. As long as everybody else agrees that's all that matters.

Does "Cream Cheese" ring any bells?

Christmas is a time for giving, living and yes, you've guessed it! Eating. For this cheery season I recommend a cheese that can be shared and enjoyed by the whole family. It goes by the name of Cream Cheese. It is a tested and tried success. I've been to many christmas parties in my short life and almost every party I've been to has a scrapped empty Philedelphia Cream Cheese canister in the back ( yeah. I'm a bit nosy when it comes to checking out people's fridges).All of my fam loves it - even our dogs!Dogs of course will have a hard time getting a share from underneath the table since thier young masters' wont be handing it down. I'm sure the little kids will enjoy dipping thier wheat thins at midnight while sophisticated grandparents consume it off thier bread with coffee and parents kick back and eat it with chips in front of the TV as everyone waits for Christmas EVE! So when you do your christmas dinner shopping walk by the cream cheese, take it home and put it out on the table. Your family will love you(even more than they do now) for it.

People say your tiny eyes
are just thin slits on your head
But I must admit I rise

You can get kinda funky
but I guess it's okay
then again, you're like a monkey!
and I mean that in a good way

I guess 'cause your my oldest friend
were probably stuck with magic glue
that will keep us together till the end

this poem is dedicated to my friends ( order mentioned in poem) Josh, Leah, Kaye, Irina, Paula and Judy. Each friend has two paragraphs each ( happy?)

Tribute to B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy's one of a kind Sportsfest

Now I've mentioned that I am a devoted Yellow Panther right? Right. Well in my school there are three other teams - Blue Sharks,Red Tigers & Green Hawks. I find Blue Sharks to be cool people. They are always relaxed and have really good music for their cheer dances. Red tigers have very good players. They are always strong and can endure the intense heat of the Philippines. Green Hawks I think are good with strategies. They think up a good amount of original and creative ideas. All these teams are the inspiratons for mine and kaye's Comic strip called....drum roll please...WE DON"T KNOW YET! haha yeah sorry about that but we have not even come across the discussion about the title of our comic strip. We've planned it's plot and characters though. There are four main characters. Fin is a Blue Shark. He likes listening to his music and just being cool. Then there is a feisty Red Tiger named Katilyn. She is just a tad aggressive. We've also created William who represents the Green Hawks. Kaye and I have yet to discuss his character's attitude. Last but not least is Camille who was created in honor of you've guessed it! The Yellow Panthers. We have also not determined her way of living. For a special treat I've decided to show you our sketches of the four characters. I'm sure I don't need to tell you who's who. They have little costumes on them so you'll figure it out. By the way...Kaye if your reading this, Take it as a note that screams :

To Them Faces Who Hate Braces

Yesterday while I walked through my school's first floor, a kid came out of his classroom and called out " Hey, you have braces so your a Nerd!!!". I stopped and looked at the kid. He glared at me with confidence. "Thank you" said I finally and walked away. I didnt think that there were still kids who suggested that if a person has braces, they are smart. Has he not observed kids nowadays? Can he not see that people get braces to fix their teeth and not to appear smart?He must eat and breath cartoons so much that it has brainwashed him into thinking BRACES = SMARTY PANTS. It does not! I'm sure you know this already but this is for them people who just hate people with braces. Then I thought about how he felt when he said that. I think he was either jealous of people who had braces or he secretly wanted braces himself. I don't know. A person's mind is a very complicated place.
